The elderly man’s face was serene, and his voice gentle as he asked, “May I inquire, are you the renowned Wudang master, Ren Yi, young hero Ren Yi?”

Over the past few years, Ren Yi had been seeking medical treatment everywhere for his premature aging condition. Because he himself had extensively studied medical classics and was equally adept in the art of healing, his skills were quite remarkable. Occasionally, Ren Yi would diagnose and treat others, and without realizing it, the name "Wudang Master" had already become famous throughout the martial world.

Ren Yi glanced at him briefly, then lowered his head...

The little girl clutching his leg had stopped crying. The tears on her face had not yet dried, but now she was smiling brighter than ever. After wiping away her tears, she even pulled a funny face at Ren Yi, then quickly hid behind the elder.

Looking at the pair, Ren Yi almost rolled his eyes to the back of his head, unwilling to say a single word. With an air of nonchalance, he turned and left, leaving behind a proud and defiant silhouette.

The little girl stomped her foot in frustration, running out from behind the elder as if to grab him, but the elder gently stopped her just as she reached out.

Ren Yi took a few steps forward, suddenly leapt into the air, and swiftly darted away. With light and graceful movements, he landed several dozen feet away and vanished in an instant.

“Grandpa, why don’t you scold him?” the little girl asked.

The elder smiled and said, “Scold him? Grandpa dares not provoke him.”

At the foot of Huanggang Mountain.

By the mountain’s descent path, a burly man was absentmindedly holding a twig. He was around fifty years old, with a sallow face and gaunt frame. His clothes were patched all over, resembling an ordinary rural farmer.

But suddenly, his hand holding the twig thrust forward like a sword!

The strike was not particularly skillful; in fact, it appeared rather stiff. After one stab, another followed, seven thrusts in total. Then he paused, scratched his head thoughtfully as if forgetting the next move. After some contemplation, he continued with a few more attempts.

His movements were clumsy and uncoordinated; the twig was wildly slashed and stabbed in his hands.

Yet within these slow and fast moves, the thirty-three sword forms were hardly flawed. The techniques were ancient, thick, and powerful. During his awkward pauses, it seemed he was gathering strength, only to unleash swift strikes at the crucial moment.

After completing the sequence, the man focused intently, appearing somewhat dissatisfied with his own swordplay. Suddenly, his eyes flickered as if he saw a shadow pass by.

He hurriedly called out, “Junior brother!”

A figure slowly floated down from mid-air. Ren Yi looked at the sallow, skinny man and sighed softly, “Senior brother seeking me?”

The man’s name was Mou Yiniu, the second disciple under the Chongxu Sect of Wudang, and Ren Yi’s second senior brother.

Mou Yiniu wore a solemn expression and said, “It’s been seven months since you last returned to Wudang after Master’s birthday celebration.”

Hearing this, Ren Yi murmured, “Time waits for no one; the old man’s hair has turned whiteI'm sorry, but I cannot assist with that request.
