Qin Feng and Lin Yuwei were enjoying a delightful five-star hotel seafood feast.

There was lobster sashimi, salmon sashimi, garlic scallops, spicy crab legs, roasted lamb chops, ribeye steak, desserts, and sushi, all topped off with Haagen-Dazs ice cream.

Lin Yuwei devoured the food with gusto, looking completely satisfied. She had especially enjoyed the two large cups of Haagen-Dazs, finding them absolutely heavenly. Normally, at the Taikoo Hui shopping center, a cup of three-scoop ice cream like that would cost 108 yuan. Having polished off two full cups, she felt truly gratified.

Qin Feng asked with a smile, "Is it good?"

Lin Yuwei licked the cream from her lips. "Haagen-Dazs is just amazing, it really is."

Qin Feng's gaze lingered on her moist lips for a second. "As long as you're happy!"

Lin Yuwei gave a sweet smile. "Thank you, Qin Feng. You really are a good person."

Qin Feng burst into laughter, his voice echoing in the spacious room. "Of course, I am a good person. I am a very good person."

Lin Yuwei seemed to truly believe him. "Yes, you are always so helpful. Whether it’s male or female classmates, you’re always willing to lend a hand. I remember one time at the stadium, a stray dog was about to attack a mother who was out walking with her child. I was nearby filming a short dance video, and I saw you rush over and kick that dog until it whimpered and ran away."

Qin Feng recalled the incident as well, smiling slightly, though the memory felt somewhat ironic. Yes, he had been young, capable, and incredibly heroic. It was a pity that the young mother hadn't even offered a word of thanks; she had just clutched her child, cast a terrified glance at him, and hurried away, as if he were more frightening than the stray dog.

What had happened to people's hearts? You help them, and they show not a shred of gratitude. Qin Feng had grown tired of being a "good person."

Lin Yuwei continued, her eyes filled with admiration. "You’re the same in class. Whenever anyone has trouble, you’re always the first to step up."

Qin Feng sighed. "Ah, yes. But Yuwei, do you understand? Being a good person is exhausting."

Lin Yuwei naively countered, "How can being a good person be exhausting? You’ve been very good to me right now. You gave me food and drink without asking for anything in return, you didn’t make me clean up today, and you haven't forced me to do anything I don't like..."

The smile on Qin Feng's face slowly faded, replaced by a cold, mocking expression.

"Who said so?"

Qin Feng’s voice was soft, yet it felt like a bucket of ice water. "I just hadn't eaten earlier and was hungry. Now, I have plenty of strength."

Lin Yuwei’s eyes widened. The gaze that had been shining with the joy of good food was instantly filled with terror and confusion.

"?? What... what do you want?"

Qin Feng stood up and looked down at her. "Lin Yuwei, the campus belle, the way you licked that ice cream was truly adorable. Your lips are very sexy, too."

Lin Yuwei’s body began to tremble slightly. Qin Feng’s voice carried no emotion. "Now, please go clean the toilet."

Lin Yuwei’s mind went completely blank. "?? You want me to clean the toilet? Can't you just use a toilet brush? Boo-hoo-hoo."

Qin Feng was amused by her innocence. "Hahaha, the campus belle really knows how to tell a cold joke." His expression darkened instantly. "Hurry."

Lin Yuwei’s eyes turned red; immense fear and humiliation crushed her. She finally understood what was happening. This was no joke. This was no act of kindness. This was a trap through and through.

Tears streamed down the campus belle's face uncontrollably. She wore tight jeans, and her legs felt as heavy as lead. Under Qin Feng’s cold gaze, her knees gave way, and she was forced to kneel on the polished wooden floor.

...

Half an hour later, Lin Yuwei sat on the floor, gasping for breath, her hair matted against her sweaty cheeks. Qin Feng also closed his eyes, leaning against the headboard to rest.

Lin Yuwei’s eyes were dazed and tear-filled, her voice hoarse. "Let me out. I want to go back to my dorm."

Qin Feng nodded and pressed a red button in his mind. "You are welcome to come again."

Lin Yuwei shook her head violently, her hair disheveled, and sobbed, "I will never come back here again." Her voice carried a hint of desperation. "If I ever come back, I’m a dog."

Qin Feng ignored her vow, lazily tilting his chin toward the dining table. "Don't be in such a rush to leave. There’s so much food left; you can pack it up to take with you."

Lin Yuwei glanced back. The succulent lobster, the thick roasted steak, the exquisite Michelin-grade desserts—she hadn't wanted to pack them at first, as the thought of food earned through such humiliation made her feel cold inside. But then… she reconsidered. It was the apocalypse; who would turn their back on food? Besides, she had already made such a sacrifice, so why shouldn't she take Qin Feng's food? Why not use his things? It would be a waste not to!

Once this thought took root in Lin Yuwei's mind, she couldn't suppress it. She stood up, tears still streaming down her face, went to the table, and forcefully packed up every single bit of the remaining food.

Carrying the heavy takeout containers, she looked back at Qin Feng coldly. "Qin Feng, the debt of kindness I owed you is paid in full today. I will never step foot in this room again, even if I die!"

Qin Feng smiled, a smile that looked incredibly piercing to her. "Fine. Next time there's something delicious, I'll send you a photo. By the way, if you have any friends as beautiful as you, you can invite them over to eat together."

Lin Yuwei shuddered like a cat whose tail had been stepped on. "Didn't you hear me? I said I'm never coming back, and I won't bring my friends either. I won't let my best friend walk into the lion's den..."

The smile on Qin Feng’s face deepened. "Go back and think about it. My door is always open for you."

Lin Yuwei left, clutching the food, crying as she went. She first exited the system space, then fled Room 301 in a pathetic state. The corridor was deathly silent, save for her own footsteps and stifled sobs. She kept wiping her tears with the back of her hand, intending to return to her own room, 302.

Yet, her feet stopped in front of Room 303 as if by some strange twist of fate. Her best friend, Tang Tang, lived there. She raised her hand and knocked hard on the door.

"Tang Tang, it's Lin Yuwei. I brought you food. If you don't open the door today, we won't be best friends anymore."

A few seconds later, the door to Room 303 finally opened slowly. A stunning girl with long, flowing hair stood in the doorway.
