In just a few short days, Yang Rongrong had been completely molded by Yang Jie.

Because of his overwhelming prowess, Yang Jie had firmly imprinted himself into the deepest recesses of her heart. Yang Rongrong felt that it would be very difficult for her to ever marry anyone else in this lifetime. Female celebrities faced a specific predicament: marrying young risked damaging one’s career and left no time for anything else, while waiting until one was older often meant that the people you liked didn't like you back, and the ones who were interested in you didn't meet your standards.

Yet, after spending just a few days with Yang Jie, she felt he was a man of boundless masculine charm who could provide her with an infinite sense of security. Even if Yang Jie were penniless, she could afford to support him! The problem was that he was simply too strong; she felt like a little lamb, currently feeling as though her entire body had fallen apart, her hand trembling as she held her phone. Her abdomen and hips, in particular, felt stretched to the limit; in just two days, he had satisfied her more than she would have typically expected in two months.

Yang Rongrong was currently caught between exhilaration and dread. What would happen tonight? She had barely managed to survive up until now, but what about tomorrow? A quick mental calculation told her that even if she tied all her past boyfriends together, they wouldn't match up to Yang Jie alone. It was truly agonizing! She really wanted to post on social media: "Family, my boyfriend is too strong, who can relate? (Dog head emoji)"

Following Zhao Baitong’s GPS coordinates, they drove for over two hours before finally arriving at the entrance of a mid-sized residential complex. Both were fully armed as they walked inside. For some reason, ever since she had personally taken down a guy, Yang Rongrong’s mental fortitude had greatly improved; now, she felt insecure if she wasn't touching a gun.

The moment Yang Jie saw the mother and daughter, he was completely stunned.

"My God... you, you, you...!"

Donna was startled by Yang Jie’s physique, but she still reached out to shake his hand. The moment they shook hands, the absolute mismatch in size was palpable—it felt like a hand holding a box of matches.

"You noticed? Does she look like her?"

Yang Jie nodded silently. "She looks truly identical, as if she herself had appeared in the flesh!"

As the two chatted, Zhao Baitong and Yang Rongrong kept sizing each other up. Zhao Baitong knew exactly who she was, but Yang Rongrong did not. She felt genuinely depressed; whether it was her appearance, figure, or aura, the woman was on par with her, but she couldn't overcome the fact that the other woman was younger.

The most infuriating part was that not a single woman in the room was inferior to her, and judging by their ages, Yang Rongrong felt like crying—every one of them was younger than her.

Sofia asked curiously, "Yang Jie, stop talking in riddles. What does she look like?"

Yang Jie smiled slightly. "Donna is 99% identical to Olivia Hussey, but her figure is even better!" He then looked at Emma. "And her daughter is 99% identical to India Eisley. Tsk tsk tsk, this world is truly wondrous."

Sofia was completely baffled; she hadn't heard of them. "What are their famous works? How come I've never heard of them?" As someone with one foot in the entertainment industry, she usually had at least heard of common celebrities and directors.

"Their representative work is *Romeo and Juliet*."

"Impossible. I've seen it, and that person you're talking about isn't in it!"

"The 1968 version!"

Sofia was speechless. *Brother, are you here to do archaeology?*

Donna nodded. She didn't feel uncomfortable with Yang Jie's assessment; it wasn't the first time someone had said that. She didn't ask about the apocalypse immediately, but instead requested Yang Jie’s background information. Upon learning his true identity, she finally felt at ease. He was a billionaire—there was nothing she had that he could possibly want to swindle from her!

"Our team currently only has a half-baked military medic. Since you have a medical background and your daughter is proficient in IT, you can perfectly fill the gaps in our team!"

After a long silence, Donna took a deep breath, as if she had made a decision, and looked Yang Jie straight in the eyes. "I believe in science and require overwhelming evidence. As long as you can prove that the apocalypse is truly coming, I will join. And not just join—from now on, my daughter and I will follow your lead. After all, a team can only have one voice."

Donna’s meaning was clear: she needed proof that the apocalypse would happen, even if there wasn't explicit evidence. Yang Jie smiled and waved his hand toward the coffee table. Instantly, everything on the table vanished. Before Donna could even react, Yang Jie waved his hand again and made the items reappear.

"Is... is this a magic trick?"

Yang Jie didn't speak. He began placing various weapons on the coffee table until there was no space left.

Donna was no naive girl; her eyes immediately hardened. Magic was magic, but this was undeniably real.

"I agree to join your team. No one wants to die if they can survive. But I must be honest with you: as a forensic pathologist, although I haven't performed surgery in many years, I have a deep understanding of human anatomy. Surgery is no problem, but diagnosing illnesses isn't my strong suit."

Yang Jie waved his hand dismissively. "I selected you from 150 dossiers. When a team lives together, they can't be drug-addled, they need strong stress resistance, and they must be people with normal cognitive functions—not like those people outside who can't even tell their own genders apart."

Donna strongly agreed with Yang Jie. Sometimes, whether you are recruiting people or doing anything else, people look at your character first. If you aren't reliable, no one will believe in the things you propose. If you are reliable, then even if your project sounds shaky, people will still calmly analyze it instead of throwing it straight into the trash.

"Very well. Then my daughter and I are in your hands. I hope we can be of help in the future!"

"Don't worry, I'm here!"

Yang Jie tilted his head to look at Emma, sensing that she was a bit introverted. "We'll likely be living together from now on. Aren't you going to say hello?"

Emma hesitated for a moment before actually getting up to give Yang Jie a hug. It looked quite comical, like a polar bear hugging a husky. When Emma looked up, she discovered that the sunlight made Yang Jie look like a sun god; that warmth and that sturdy frame held a fatal attraction for a dark-styled girl!

"Then what should I do?" Donna asked, not at all concerned that her daughter was still clinging to Yang Jie!

"Hand over all your assets to Zhao Baitong. She will handle them for you."

"Handle them how, exactly?" Donna had poured her heart and soul into this house; she had almost missed her mortgage payments at one point.

Sensing Donna's seriousness, Zhao Baitong looked past Yang Rongrong and said, "The location is good. We can dump it onto Wall Street, turn it into a financial product, add some packaging buffs, and then sell it off!"

Donna was speechless. "What does that mean?"
