"Alright, I'm tired and need to rest. Where will I sleep tonight?" I said, gesturing for the little vengeful ghost to follow me.

The little ghost was still happily sipping her orange soda. When she saw me getting ready for bed, her nose wrinkled and she bared her fangs. A chill ran through me—this creature was no mere pet; she was a tiger.

Exorcism is much like driving a tiger to devour a wolf; if you don't raise them properly, they will eventually turn on you.

I have always been introverted, so even though I was terrified, I kept a blank expression. When she didn't move, I frowned. Seeing my displeasure, she calmed down and slowly floated toward me while hugging her soda can. The way she hovered a few inches off the ground was deeply unsettling, especially with her crimson dress and black eyes. When she was angry, the sight of the veins bulging on her neck and forehead was more than human senses could bear.

She obediently wrapped her arms around my neck, and I turned to look at Zhao Qian. To my surprise, Zhao Qian was frozen in place, clutching her chest and gasping for air, unable to speak. I suspected that if I hadn't been there, she would have fled long ago.

"Over there... that room... I'll go tidy it up for you right now..." Zhao Qian stood up mechanically. After passing by the little ghost, she practically sprinted to the room on the first floor.

The place was luxuriously furnished, complete with a computer and television. Even the bookshelves were packed. I glanced over them; they were filled with all sorts of miscellaneous texts, mostly Taoist, though there was almost nothing related to Confucianism or Buddhism.

"Is this your study?" I asked.

"Yes. I had the upstairs customized, so there's only one master bedroom and a guest room. The guest room was given to Xiaoxue, so the rest became my little practice hall. Downstairs, besides the large living room, there's only this study. I'm sorry to make you settle for this. If you don't like it, I can sleep in the study, and you... you can take my bedroom," Zhao Qian said, looking embarrassed.

The study was quite large, several dozen square meters, and even had a bed for naps, so it functioned well as a bedroom. It was actually much more luxurious than the guest room.

"It's fine. A girl's room should stay a girl's room; this is perfect. Can I use this computer?" I asked without standing on ceremony. With a computer, I could access the latest news and information, which was essential.

"You can, just please don't delete my photos or any work-related information," Zhao Qian said cautiously.

"No problem. I'm not interested in those; I'll just use the search engine occasionally," I explained.

While I was observing the surroundings, Zhao Qian leaned over to make the bed. She had changed into casual clothes upstairs—a loose white blouse and a blue pleated skirt—which was a refreshing sight.

Taking a closer look, I noticed her figure was indeed quite stunning, and she was well-end
