Just a few steps after she ran out, a voice called from behind.

"Su Bai, wait!"

Hearing her name, Su Bai stopped and turned around with a puzzled look. Standing there was a woman with long flowing hair and fair skin that seemed almost filtered by some ethereal glow. It was Li Weiwei, Su Bai’s university classmate and former roommate.

Su Bai was stunned, then anger flared up.

"Li Weiwei, are you out of your mind? You were the one who said you had OCD and didn’t want me to keep the pearl bird in the dorm. That’s why I moved out. And now you want to buy it? Do you really think I’d believe that?"

Without giving Li Weiwei a chance to respond, Su Bai quickly walked away.

Only after Su Bai was out of sight did Li Weiwei stomp her foot in frustration.
