“Gu Ran was abused to death. At the brink of death, she was bound to the Good Pregnancy and Childbearing System, tasked with entering small worlds to bear heirs for infertile male protagonists. Once the mission is complete, she can return to her original world and seek revenge.”
“She agreed.”
“In the first life, she became the favored consort of a barren emperor...”
A PPT screen floated mid-air on the school rooftop.
In front, a chibi figure was earnestly delivering a work report.
“Wait a moment.”
Hua Ying sat up, her face troubled.
“So you mean my task is to give birth to a child for a man who is infertile?”
The little figure whispered, “He’s barren, not infertile.”
Her voice faded under the scrutiny of cold eyes.
“Can I change it?”
The figure smiled awkwardly and switched the PPT slide.
“Bai Xuanyuan’s life is counting down. She was chosen by the Heavenly Dao Bureau to complete missions in different small worlds, becoming the villain’s favorite, increasing her life value, and rising to the peak of her life.”
The surrounding temperature dropped rapidly.
“Just like how you once sent people to woo me, right?”
Hua Ying interrupted, a slight curl at the corner of her mouth, her eyes frosty.
The little figure paused briefly and quickly silenced itself.
Hua Ying didn’t make things hard for it and tossed the last piece of cake into her mouth.
“So do you think I should bring him food when he was hungry as a child?”
“Or shield him from a knife when he was attacked?”
“Or actively pursue him and give him love?”
Ling Hua smiled faintly.
“Where’s the villain? If there’s no difficulty, create one.”
“If his family is harmonious, I’ll make him an orphan.”
“I could even arrange for someone to kidnap him or cripple him.”
“I’m familiar with this strategy—dragging someone into the mud, making him wag his tail and beg, looking up to me, using him as I please.”
This was Hua Ying’s own experience.
“No way,” the little figure screamed.
“You’re the female lead of this world. We must cherish truth, goodness, and beauty. We can’t do such dark things—it won’t pass the review.”
Hua Ying rolled her eyes.
She was clearly the arch-villain of the apocalypse.
After destroying the post-apocalyptic world, she was inexplicably punished by the Heavenly Dao Tribunal and sent to complete tasks in quick-transmigration worlds.
“Little Red, what exactly is my mission?”
“Of course peace and love. You’re the female lead, spreading love and peace so everyone can feel your kindness.”
The little figure wanted to say more but saw the person in front had disappeared and hurried after her.
Several boys had somehow appeared on the rooftop.
They held sticks, surrounding someone.
Hua Ying leaned lazily against the wall, watching the show.
“Kneel down and crawl under our legs. Become my little brothers, and we’ll let this slide today.”
The childish tone was laced with obvious malice.
“Boss, they’re bullying someone. Go help them.”

The little figure spun anxiously in the air.
“That person is the villain?” Hua Ying raised an eyebrow.
The figure shook her head, withdrawing her gaze.
“Then why should I save him?”
“Because you can’t stand injustice. That child is so pitiful. Can you really bear it?”
The system kept nagging, and Hua Ying clicked her tongue.
Impatiently waving her hand, the little figure was sent flying somewhere unknown.
A faint scream was heard.
Hua Ying turned to leave but caught a pair of eyes through the crowd.
Empty inside, eerily calm and unhuman.
Yet the moment they saw her, they suddenly lit up.
Then extinguished again.
Returning to cold silence.
He wouldn’t save himself!
Mu Jinnian curled into a ball, groaning in pain.
A knife appeared silently in her palm.
“I’ll protect this person. Let him go.”
Hua Ying walked over slowly, hands in pockets.
The group sneered disdainfully.
“This has nothing to do with you. Now get lost.”
Hua Ying found it amusing.
She hadn’t seen such pure and naive malice in a long time.
“Now. Immediately. Leave.”
She stood leisurely.
Her gaze fixed on the boy from start to finish.
It was as if everyone else around was mere dust, unworthy of her notice.
Boys this age couldn’t stand such neglect.
A fist swung hard toward Hua Ying.
She extended her hand, lightly pinching two fingers to seize his wrist.
The boy was kicked and sent flying, crashing hard into the wall, wailing in pain.
The scene was strange, and silence fell.
“Still not leaving?”
Hua Ying pressed her foot on the injured boy’s back, her cold gaze sweeping over the crowd.
A single look made them tremble in fear.
One by one, they scrambled away.
Hua Ying snorted and turned to the rescued boy.
“Poor thing, can you still stand?”
“Yes.”
Mu Jinnian stood up, silently retracting the knife.
Hua Ying saw this and withdrew her gaze.
“Why are they bullying you?”

“They’re doing it on the orders of my so-called brothers.”
So-called brothers? His background might be complicated.
Plus, he was strikingly handsome.
A classic villain’s trait.
Could he be the big villain of this world?
If two big villains could join forces...
Hua Ying’s eyes brightened.
“Do you hate them? Want revenge?”
“My family sides with my brothers. They have money and power. I’m not sure I can fight them. I just want to leave after the college entrance exam and start a new life.”
His tone was calm, but his glance caught the disappointed look in front of him.
His heart stirred and he changed the topic.
“Of course I want revenge.”
“My mother was wronged, I was bullied since childhood, but no one cared about the truth. The one who hurt her holds a high position and power, so I had to swallow my pain.”
Mu Jinnian exhaled deeply.
She smiled, clearly pleased with this answer.
“How about I help you get revenge?”
Hua Ying was unusually interested in some things.
The other person eagerly nodded, making her pause slightly.
This one was somewhat interesting.
From afar, the system figure came panting to Hua Ying, unable to hold back complaints.
“Boss, how could you scare me off? I struggled so hard to come back. My points were already low, and now I lost two more.”
“This is my last mission. If I fail again, I’ll be summoned back for punishment.”
“Electric shocks, lightning strikes, mountains of knives, seas of fire—those aren’t things ordinary people can endure.”
“Shut up,” Hua Ying snapped, unable to bear it any longer.
She turned and met Mu Jinnian’s cautious gaze.
But said nothing more.
“I’ll come to you if I need help.”
Leaving those words behind, Hua Ying turned and left.
“I’m Mu Jinnian. What’s your name?”
Mu Jinnian called out loudly, but received no reply.
His heart sank.
The little figure muttered softly, “But I haven’t told you how to find me yet.”
The system covered its mouth, too afraid to speak.
But upon receiving news, it excitedly shouted out.
“Your points actually increased! Boss, you saved someone. I knew you were kind-hearted.”
Hua Ying raised an eyebrow slightly.
Was her mission really to redeem villains?
How utterly unoriginal!
