Twenty minutes later, Chi Feichi climbed out through the ventilation window of the station.

Feimo looked somewhat annoyed. "It's all my fault for miscalculating Master's height. If Master hadn't reacted quickly and ducked down just in time, we would have been seen..."

"You did very well already." Chi Feichi put the envelope into his pocket. Seeing Feicha staring at him, he instantly understood and repeated Feimo's words.

"You can leave that to me," Feicha said dismissively. "My sense of distance is naturally good. I'll judge it from now on!"

Acting as a translator between a snake and a crow, Chi Feichi chatted for a while. Upon reaching his car, he stopped in his tracks, turned his head, and looked at the Cheetah Express delivery drop-off point not far away...

Ten minutes later, Feimo flew through the car window with a hard paper envelope in its beak and placed it on the passenger seat. "I spotted two security cameras and avoided them. The printed paper is already inside and packed."

"Good job." Chi Feichi took the hard paper envelope, put the letter envelope along with the printed paper inside, and finally felt a sense of satisfaction.

It was the Cheetah Express that had seduced him first!

You could see Cheetah Express everywhere. They had printers inside, and the sealed cardboard boxes looked sturdy and neat, making them a pleasure to use. He always felt like something was missing if he didn't seal things up properly.

Feicha looked at the express package on the passenger seat, feeling as though it had discovered its master's little quirk, and wanted to complain about it to its feathered companion...

It turned to look at Feimo. Never mind, forget it. It was better to just look forward to getting its own phone and computer.

Seeing Feicha glance at it, Feimo knew Feicha had something to say. Curiosity was driving it crazy, though it was mostly looking forward to its own phone and computer...

Driving toward Sambo-cho once again, 1-chome, No. 214 was a game center.

From a distance, a row of arcade machines could be seen lined up behind the door, with a group of delinquent youths playing games while laughing and making a ruckus.

"In an enclosed space, it won't be convenient for Feimo to go inside. You can keep watch outside," Chi Feichi said as he got out of the car. "Feicha, the mission of scouting the interior for any suspicious individuals is up to you."

"No problem!"

"Understood!"

Two nearly identical responses, followed by two instances of frantic nodding.

Chi Feichi had intended to say something more, but his gaze caught a Porsche 356A parked near the game center, and he stopped. Watching two tall, burly men in black get out of the car, he changed his mind and said instead, "Feicha, keep an eye on these two later. Tell me immediately if they make any unusual moves."

On the other side, Gin, who had just stepped out of the car, felt a gaze fixed on him. He turned his head and only saw a round, chubby man closing a car door and walking toward the game center, seemingly paying no attention to this side at all.

Vodka looked over as well. "Big Brother, is something wrong?"

"It's nothing," Gin withdrew his gaze. "Hurry up."

"Alright, Big Brother," Vodka muttered, watching Chi Feichi approach and feeling somewhat shocked by his figure. "Man, that guy is really fat, though."

"Be careful. This guy is no simple character," Gin said in a low voice, stepping into the game center first.

Chi Feichi had parked far away and entered a step later. At a glance, he immediately spotted the resting area at the very back.

Though called a resting area, it was actually just two tables set up in the corner of the arcade.

Sitting beside one of the tables was a sloppily dressed middle-aged man leaning against a large backpack.

Seeing people enter, a group of delinquent youths looked surprised, occasionally casting assessing glances at the three newcomers.

A tall man in black, a shorter yet burly man, and a round figure dressed in a bright blue outfit walked in a single file past the arcade cabinets toward the back...

It was indeed somewhat eye-catching.

As Vodka walked, he glanced at the shadow on the ground, quickened his pace to catch up with Gin, and muttered in a low voice, "Big Brother, that fat guy has been following us. Could he be coming after us?"

Gin remained silent.

Inside Chi Feichi's sleeve, Feicha quietly poked its head out. "Master, it looks like they're also going after the smuggler."

Chi Feichi remained silent.

After taking a couple of steps, Vodka looked back and noticed the group of delinquent youths occasionally looking their way, prompting him to complain to Gin again. "That guy is way too conspicuous, making those brats keep staring over here. What a pain!"

Gin remained silent.

Feicha observed the scene. "Master, what is that big guy sneaking around and talking about? He looks a bit suspicious."

Chi Feichi remained silent.

Vodka: "Big Brother, he's still following us. Should I tell him to stop interfering and get lost?"

Gin glanced at Vodka and remained silent.

He had said to be careful, but they still needed to exercise some judgment.

It was obvious the guy was just here for the smuggler. It was best to avoid conflicts if possible.

Still, never mind. Staying on guard wasn't a bad idea either.

He just suddenly felt a bit mentally exhausted...

Feicha: "Master, could that big guy be plotting how to deal with us? Should I sneak over and eavesdrop on what they're saying?"

Chi Feichi held down the restless Feicha and remained silent.

When he said to keep an eye on them, it was because he was worried Gin would draw his gun over a disagreement and drag him into trouble.

However, Gin and Vodka weren't acting suspiciously so far; they were just whispering, which wasn't a big deal. Wasn't Feicha worrying a bit too much?

Still, never mind. Staying alert wasn't a bad idea either.

He just suddenly didn't feel like talking anymore...

The man sitting at the second table noticed someone approaching. His expression changed slightly upon seeing Gin and Vodka, and he stood up in a panic, causing the keychain he was toying with to fly out of his hand. "How did you guys find this place?!"

Vodka let out a cold snort and stepped forward, his attitude fierce. "Never mind how we found this place. You haven't forgotten what you promised us earlier, have you?"

Chi Feichi caught the keychain that flew past his face. Without even thinking, he guessed that his first layer of disguise had been blown. He placed the keychain back on the table and lowered his voice to sound deep and husky, "Can you two save your business for after I finish buying my things?"

"You—" Vodka turned around in dissatisfaction, only to see the 'round' figure behind him begin to tear at his face, revealing a plump face underneath, which left him momentarily stunned.

Disguise?

The smuggler watched as Chi Feichi put the fake face into his pocket. Gin and Vodka fell silent as the smuggler patted his large backpack. "The stuff is in here!"

Chi Feichi took out his phone to transfer the payment. Once the smuggler confirmed that the remaining balance had arrived, he picked up the large backpack and left, showing not the slightest interest in anything else.

Seeing Gin standing quietly to the side, Vodka suppressed his inner doubts and said nothing more. Once Chi Feichi had left, they resumed their own business.

After getting into his car outside, Chi Feichi let out some air from his inflatable padding to make his face shape and body proportions look more natural.

Feimo, who had been keeping watch outside, flew back as well. "Master, are those two guys dangerous? How did it go? You didn't run into any trouble, did you?"

"It's fine," Chi Feichi started the car. Noticing Feicha peering out from his sleeve, he explained while driving away, "They're members of a mysterious organization. It's best not to take bounties related to them; it's easy to get trapped. That man with long silver hair is very tricky to deal with, and his destructive power is immense..."

Feicha agreed. "That person gave me a dangerous feeling, just like the first time Master stared at me. But Master is used to it now, so it doesn't feel scary anymore."

"Did you think I was scary before?" Chi Feichi asked casually.

"A little bit, just a tiny bit..." Feicha hurriedly replied.

Unbothered by whether he truly terrified a snake, Chi Feichi continued, "I don't really want to get involved with them. Their organization doesn't play by the rules. Take that smuggler, for example—a reputable merchant ought to be well-protected; as long as he doesn't cross the line, others won't touch him. But with people from that organization, the moment someone learns some of their secrets and poses a risk of exposing their existence, they wipe them out without the slightest hesitation. They kill without blinking and blow things up without a second thought..."

Boom—!

An explosion suddenly echoed from behind.

Feimo looked back and saw that the game center they had just left was now engulfed in flames, while that black Porsche 356A had already driven some distance away and was quickly catching up: "..."

Call it a jinx? Master was the ultimate jinx!

He said they blew things up without a second thought, and they actually went and blew it up!

Feicha also turned to look at the flames behind them. "I remember there were innocent people inside that game center..."

"Innocent?" There was no emotional fluctuation on Chi Feichi's face. "When we walked in, that group of delinquent youths didn't pay much attention to the first person, most of them frowned when they saw the second person, and all of them showed astonishment when they saw me. They weren't surprised that someone came; they were surprised that the number of people arriving didn't match their expectations. They were in cahoots with that smuggler. Besides, smuggling deals are generally not conducted in places populated by ordinary people. Although those delinquent youths dressed like students, two of them looked far too mature for their age. That game center was clearly the smuggler's lair."

"Is that so..." Feicha gazed at the fire behind the car. Although it had infrared vision and Feimo could fly, the information it gathered sometimes didn't seem as comprehensive as its master's. "Huh? Master, that car is following us!"

Chi Feichi also spotted Gin's car in the rearview mirror. "Stay alert, but there's no need to overreact."

The Porsche 356A sped up rapidly, directly overtaking the battered little car Chi Feichi had picked up along the way.

The two vehicles quickly pulled apart and parted ways peacefully.

Vodka glanced at the white car in the rearview mirror, feeling somewhat puzzled. "Big Brother, who on earth was that guy who could disguise himself...?"

"An attention-grabbing bounty hunter from recently, codenamed Rum." Gin lit a cigarette, his eyes beneath his silver hair calm and detached. "Judging by the clinking sound when that backpack was picked up, he was there to buy guns and ammunition—at least one handgun and one sniper rifle."

"A bounty hunter?" Vodka furrowed his brow in disgust. "What a troublesome and annoying bunch!"

Though their operations were covert and they hadn't made the official bounty lists yet, attracting no bounty hunter pursuit so far, intelligence agencies of various nations had already taken notice of them. If those departments ever issued bounty tasks to capture them, there would undoubtedly be hordes of bounty hunters hot on their heels.

And they were the kind of lunatics who didn't fear death—troublesome indeed!

"Bounty hunters are double-edged swords," Gin pulled out his phone. "As long as the profits are enough to move them, they'll do anything. But they can just as easily betray you for better gains. At the end of the day, it depends on the employer's offer and the bounty hunter's own reputation. Bounty hunters are rare in Japan, and ones who are both capable and trustworthy are even scarcer."

Vodka turned to look at Gin in surprise. "Could it be..."

"There's an opportunity to reach out..." Gin bit down on his cigarette and lowered his head to type. "That's what the boss wants."
