Chapter 61 The Power of Meteor Fall
It takes 20 minutes to travel from the Orc Hills to the Troll Forest. Just as Lu Yang reached the entrance of the Troll Forest, he suddenly heard the sound of heavy, massive footsteps coming from deep within the woods.
"That shouldn't be. How could there be such dense footsteps in this place?" Lu Yang looked cautiously into the Troll Forest.
Suddenly, a hunter holding an inferior longbow and accompanied by a pet dog rushed out of the forest, running straight into Lu Yang face-to-face.
The hunter shouted, "Run! The back is full of trolls!"
Lu Yang looked back, his eyes involuntarily widening. Pouring out of the Troll Forest were countless trolls—judging by the looks of it, easily over 80 of them.
"Damn it." Lu Yang spun around and began to sprint, activating his Tier 2 Blazing Speed. His movement speed increased by 125%, and the duration was extended to 45 seconds, allowing him to catch up to the hunter in the blink of an eye.
The hunter was running for his life ahead when he suddenly saw a blazing dark shadow chase past him and dart right in front of him. Looking closely, he realized it was actually Lu Yang.
"A mage running faster than a hunter? And I even have my aura active!" thought the hunter, Sun Yu, looking rather foolish.
Hunters possessed a Cheetah Aura that, when activated, increased movement speed by 30%.
Lu Yang ran a full 100 yards before dropping out of combat. He looked back at the hunter, who was still running while dodging spears thrown by the trolls.
He felt this hunter looked quite familiar, yet couldn't quite place him. Suddenly, Lu Yang slapped his forehead; he recognized who this hunter was.
He was Sun Yu, the legendary god-tier hunter of his past life, famed for a glorious feat where he dragged a Level 300 boss all the way from the Abyss of Hell to St. Gall City, nearly destroying the entire city.
Later, he was recruited by the Iron Blood Wolf Guild. After the Iron Blood Wolf was crushed by Liu Jie in the later stages, Sun Yu sought revenge by repeatedly ambushing Liu Jie's elite subordinates, driving Liu Jie to desperation. However, Sun Yu eventually stopped logging on; rumor had it that he was caught offline by Liu Jie, and his fate remained unknown.
To think he would run into him here, Lu Yang couldn't help but harbor thoughts of recruitment. In all fairness, Sun Yu had plenty of guts and was deeply loyal—he would make an exceptional partner and brother.
With that in mind, Lu Yang saw that his Blazing Speed still had 15 seconds left and ran toward Sun Yu.
Seeing Lu Yang running back, Sun Yu shouted in surprise, "What are you coming back for? Run!"
Lu Yang came up beside Sun Yu and asked, "Where are you taking such a huge train of mobs?"
Sun Yu was a very talkative young man and replied, "I'm leading them to the outpost! There are two guards there. Every single one of these 80 mobs has been hit by me. According to the game rules, even if the guards kill them, it still counts as my experience."
Lu Yang developed a black line across his forehead and said, "Those two guards are only Level 15. Do you really think these 80 trolls, also Level 15, won't be able to handle two Level 15 guards?"
Sun Yu instantly looked blank and foolishly said, "Oh right... How did I forget those two guards are only Level 15?"
Lu Yang chuckled. Although he would become a god-tier player in the later stages, right now he was still just a green, inexperienced teenager.
Sun Yu panicked and said, "Then what do we do, Expert? These mobs match my movement speed; I can't shake them off."
Lu Yang said, "If you trust me, do as I say. Party up with me first."
"Alright." Sun Yu hurriedly sent a party invitation to Lu Yang.
Lu Yang accepted and said, "We've reached a Level 14 wild mob zone now. You see that open space on the left? In one minute, lure the mobs over there and leave everything else to me."
"Expert, what are you going to do?" Sun Yu asked.
"You'll see in a moment. Just don't miss the timing." Lu Yang patted Sun Yu on the shoulder. Seeing that his Blazing Speed duration had expired, he sprinted toward the open clearing on the left.
Without time to overthink, Sun Yu nodded and continued leading the 80 trolls forward while keeping track of the time.
Arriving at the clearing, Lu Yang used over a dozen Fireblasts to clear out the surrounding wild mobs, then began casting Fire Walls across the ground.
Because the God Demon Heart boosted Fire Wall to Tier 2, its base damage reached 84 points per second.
Factor in his spell damage amplification, and the actual damage output reached a staggering 275 points per second—a divine skill for farming mobs.
However, this required setting up a sea of fire beforehand, and someone needed to lure the mobs into it. Sun Yu was arriving right on cue.
Forty seconds later, Lu Yang had covered a 16x16 area of the ground with Fire Walls. By this time, Sun Yu was already dragging the mobs over.
Seeing the ground completely covered in fire, Sun Yu didn't understand what skill Lu Yang was trying to use, but he still ran toward the spot as instructed.
Standing atop a large boulder, Lu Yang watched the clock closely. Calculating that the trolls would reach his location in exactly 10 seconds, he slowly raised his Incendiary Staff. A string of obscure yet sonorous and loud syllables spilled from his lips.
"Expert, what are you doing?" Sun Yu had reached a position 30 yards away from Lu Yang, while the trolls behind him were 30 yards behind Sun Yu.
Lu Yang didn't answer and continued chanting the obscure syllables.

As the countdown ticked down, Sun Yu arrived within 10 yards of Lu Yang. He could already feel the violent magical energy radiating from Lu Yang's body.
"So strong... Why does it feel like some kind of apocalyptic tribulation?" Sun Yu muttered, feeling fear for the very first time since he started playing the game.
At that moment, the closest troll behind him was 29 yards away and forcefully hurled a spear at him.
Hearing the rush of wind behind his head, Sun Yu hastily dodged to the side. Glancing back, he saw the trolls closing in and hurried to resume running.
When Sun Yu reached the large boulder at Lu Yang's feet, the trolls charged straight into the sea of fire Lu Yang had laid out, instantly taking massive amounts of damage.
However, thanks to Lu Yang's Spore Cloak, the trolls' aggro remained entirely focused on Sun Yu.
"Expert, run! Careful, the trolls will kill you—" Before Sun Yu could finish his sentence, he suddenly felt a powerful oppressive force crashing down from the sky.
Looking up, he saw a giant meteor with a diameter of 10 meters suddenly plunging from the heavens.
"Boom—!"
It landed dead center in the sea of fire. At that moment, the troll closest to Sun Yu was just about to escape the fire zone, while the furthest one had only just entered it.
Lu Yang timed it to absolute perfection; every single troll was stunned within the blazing inferno.
System Prompt: You killed a Troll and gained 189 experience points (including 23 experience points for killing a higher-level monster).

...
In less than five seconds, all 80-plus trolls before them were completely annihilated by Lu Yang. Meanwhile, on the other side, three consecutive beams of light flashed over Sun Yu's body as he leveled up.
