Chapter 22: Officer, the Three of Us Are Truly Fearsomely Powerful
“Everyone’s already run off, what’s the point of saving them now?” Mozi shook her head in disbelief.
Luna immediately hoisted the Red Wolf’s corpse into the manager’s office.
At that moment, Heize, Li Yishu, and Xiaoxiaoyan were crouched on the balcony of the west wing, setting up a vantage point.
Xiaoxiaoyan said, “Yishu, it seems Luna didn’t chase after us!”
“Charge!” Li Yishu responded.
“Huh? What kind of tactic is that? If Luna’s not coming after us, why rush forward?” Xiaoxiaoyan questioned.
Li Yishu explained, “When the enemy advances, we retreat; when the enemy camps, we harass; when the enemy tires, we strike; when the enemy retreats, we pursue!”
Heize exclaimed, “Wow! You even have tactics? Brother, you’re impressive!”
Li Yishu continued, “Since Luna didn’t chase us, she must be trying to save Red Wolf. But she won’t dare to rescue him in the corridor. The best position is the east wing’s manager’s office. If we charge now, we can trap Luna inside. She’s doomed!”
As he finished speaking, Xiaoxiaoyan and Li Yishu simultaneously dashed out of the west wing balcony and crossed the corridor.
Sure enough, the sound of medical equipment beeped steadily from the east wing manager’s office.
“Let’s do this!”
Li Yishu slid forward and immediately fired his handgun into the office.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Luna, hiding inside, quickly retreated into the storage room.
Red Wolf, half-rescued, lay asleep on the floor once more.
Xiaoxiaoyan said, “I can tell, she’s in the storage room!”
“Heh, Xiaoxiaoyan’s improving!” Heize praised from just behind.
Xiaoxiaoyan asked, “Commander, it’s two against one now, right?”
“That’s right,” Heize nodded.
“We’ll trap Luna, leaving her no way out!” Xiaoxiaoyan declared.
“Charge in immediately and take her down!” Li Yishu urged.
“Huh? Charge again?” Xiaoxiaoyan questioned.
“Luna’s used up her electric arrows and grenades. If we miss this chance, it’ll be hard to kill her!” Li Yishu said, then swung open the door from the edge of the wall.
Rat-a-tat-tat! Luna fired her prepped gun.
Missing her targets, she swiftly withdrew back into the room.
Xiaoxiaoyan entered a berserk state, firing relentlessly into the storage room, terrifying Luna into hiding.
“I’m charging!” Li Yishu yelled.
Luna leapt and dodged.
Li Yishu spun around, sliding into the storage room and flanking Luna.
Rat-a-tat-tat! Luna spun to shoot Li Yishu, but his handgun had already fired first.
Rat-a-tat-tat!
A volley of bullets shattered Luna’s foot.
Xiaoxiaoyan rushed in after, wildly spraying with an M14.
“Ah!” Luna screamed in pain, instantly becoming a lifeless box.
Rat-a-tat-tat!
Xiaoxiaoyan continued to fire bullets into Luna’s fallen form.
“Sniping me, shooting electric arrows at me, damn Luna!”
After emptying his magazine, Xiaoxiaoyan switched to a grenade launcher on the spot.
Li Yishu said, “Commander, we can go loot now!”
“I’m coming!” Heize blasted into the room.
He crouched over Luna’s box, greedily scavenging.
Meanwhile, in Mozi’s live stream chat:
Not So Smart: “Mozi, don’t worry. Even your escorts can’t beat these three veterans. You’re not dying in vain!”
Instant: “LOL, two escorts getting spun around by three veterans!”
Dustless: “Mozi, why aren’t you talking? Did you smash your headset?”
Three-Point Wudi: “Mozi, the one who killed you three is called Yishu, a knife-runner streamer!”
Mozi Stinky Feet: “Exactly, the guy upstairs is right. Yishu’s just a knife-runner streamer!”
Though already somewhat calm, Mozi blushed furiously upon hearing she was killed by a knife-runner.
“Knife-runner? Which knife-runner is this good at CS?”
Angrily, Mozi searched “Yishu knife-runner” as suggested in the chat.
Sure enough, she found Li Yishu’s account.
His profile confirmed he was indeed a knife-runner.
“Knife-runner? Really a damn knife-runner?”
“I’m a slender, busty, and curvy 36D aggressive streamer, and I got killed by a knife-runner?”
The next second, Mozi’s stream was abruptly shut down.
A flood of fans poured into Heize’s stream.
Nanyang: “Just came over from Mozi’s stream!”
Red Wolf Squad: “Mozi got so mad she overheated, and her stream got banned!”

Xiaoxiaoyan said, “Think about it: You’re a fierce female aggressive streamer leading two escorts to fight the enemy at the dam but got killed by one guy with a handgun, one with a Uzi, and one with a camera. Aren’t we three just terrifyingly strong?”
“Hahaha!” Heize laughed. “Is that so?”

In the chat:

Don’t Wipe Your Butt: “I already guessed what Xiaoxiaoyan would say next: Commander, can I loot too?”
Xiao Zhang Without Black Stockings: “Prophet upstairs, knife him!”
At this, Xiaoxiaoyan swayed left and right and said, “Commander, can I loot now?”
“Hahaha!” Heize burst out laughing. “Look at your own stream, your little thoughts are obvious to everyone!”

Heize said, “Whether you can loot or not isn’t up to me. You ask Yishu!”
“Yishu!” Xiaoxiaoyan immediately called out, “Do you… remember what you did back in the barracks?”

The chat erupted in laughter as well.
Xiaoxiaoyan went on, “Two Liu Tao’s, two M250’s. I won’t hold past grudges, but now we’re on the same team. So, do you think I have the right to loot?”
“Hmm?” Li Yishu pretended to ponder, then said, “Commander, I think Xiaoxiaoyan has earned it too!”
“Really?” Heize asked. “Xiaoxiaoyan, what have you done?”
“I intimidated the war god, Commander!” Xiaoxiaoyan said. “Mozi got so scared she blew her fuse, and Luna was so frightened she went weak in the knees. Without my help, could Yishu have killed them?”
Heize said, “So you admit Yishu’s a sergeant, and you’re willing to be a corporal?”
Xiaoxiaoyan: “Ah... I...”
