Chapter 37: Red Wolf’s Sister Is Beaten to Tears, and Old Demon Vows to Kill the Officer

Within Heize’s livestream:

"Ninety-Seven Year Old Leaning on a Wall": "Since the Commander says to go for it, and Little Yan and Yishu are in, I won't hold back either!"
"Old Man Only Loves Black Silk": "Hold on brothers, let me interject about the female escort situation first!"
"Sad Mashed Potatoes": "Wait, what is wrong with the two of you above? They're talking about a fight!"
"Bird Luna Loves Blocking the Bridge": "Brother, they are talking about a fight too!"
"Already Brought the Family Portrait": "Exactly, we need to go help hold the line!"

At that moment, rapid footsteps echoed from upstairs.
Heize said: "Footsteps in the East Building, and footsteps in the West Building too!"
Li Yishu immediately replied: "No big deal. I threw barbed wire at the entrance to the East Building basement. If they come..."
Before he could finish, a 'bang' rang out.
"Damn it!" Li Yishu said: "Luna used a grenade to blow up my barbed wire!"
Heize commanded: "Go to the West Building, take out Red Wolf first!"
Li Yishu said: "Commander, I can take the ladder!"
"Split up!" Heize ordered: "Little Yan, charge!"
"Commander, I'm charging!" Little Yan roared, raising his shield and rushing toward the West Building, with Heize following close behind with his rifle.

Li Yishu dropped a piece of barbed wire behind him and made his way to the ladder, climbing straight up into the West Building.
Meanwhile, Red Wolf, who had already entered the basement from the West Building, said: "Wait, someone is climbing the stairs!"
Luna said: "The three of them are coming up to the West Building. I'll be there in a second, don't worry!"
"Okay, sister!" Red Wolf was extremely cautious. She wedged herself into the corner of the stairwell, switched to her hand cannon, and listened intently to the footsteps.

Little Yan charged up the stairs with his shield raised.
Red Wolf fired her hand cannon directly.
"Boom, boom, boom!"
"Hand cannon, it’s a hand cannon!"
Heize shouted: "Don't retreat, keep charging!"
"I'm charging!" Little Yan, who had just started running down the stairs, suddenly reversed direction and charged upward, just in time for the hand cannon rounds to explode behind him.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Severely wounded, Little Yan scrambled backward.
Red Wolf jumped and strafed, raising her M14 to fire at Little Yan's back.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Almost simultaneously, Heize jumped out, raising his VSS Vintorez and spraying Red Wolf with bullets.
Seeing the VSS and noticing the Liu Tao armor, Red Wolf immediately dodged behind cover and retreated, starting to heal while listening for footsteps.
"Red Wolf's armor is broken!" Heize shouted: "Little Yan, charge for me!"
Little Yan replied: "Commander, can we wait a second before charging?"
Heize said: "It's come to this, what are you waiting for?"
"I'm downed!" Little Yan said: "If you don't save me, I'm going to become a loot box!"

"What?" Heize glanced at his screen and realized Little Yan's health bar had turned red and was rapidly depleting.
Little Yan spammed the call button.
"Ding, ding, ding!"
Heize used a grappling hook, pulling Little Yan directly to his side.
"Little Yishu, where are you? Little Yan is fading!"
Li Yishu said: "I've reached the West Building and I see Red Wolf. Start the revive!"
"Reviving now!" Heize immediately pressed 'F' to revive Little Yan.
"Beep, beep, beep!"
The sound of the revive echoed through the basement.
Red Wolf, having finished healing her health, prepared to repair her armor.
But just then, the sound of heavy footsteps approached from behind.
She turned in a hurry to see a "Shield Dog" charging at her.
Red Wolf couldn't afford to repair her armor and immediately stood up, spraying at Li Yishu with her M14.
Li Yishu shook his shield wildly, pushing forward relentlessly.
"Shield Dog, it's that Shield Dog again! Stop shaking that thing, I can't hit you!" Red Wolf stomped her feet behind the screen, her composure beginning to shatter.
At that moment, the spectating "Forever Yaoyao" said: "Don't panic, sister, absolutely don't panic. Get upstairs, retreat!"
Red Wolf listened, switching to her hand cannon to suppress the enemy's movement so she could head upstairs.
"Don't switch to the hand cannon!" Forever Yaoyao shouted, but it was too late.
Red Wolf completed the switch and fired.
Li Yishu seized the opportunity, fired his grappling hook, and yanked Red Wolf right in front of him.
"Boom, boom, boom!"
Three hand cannon rounds exploded. Red Wolf was knocked to the ground, while Li Yishu blocked most of the damage with his shield. Though wounded, he wasn't dead.
"Wuu-wuu-wuu!" Red Wolf burst into tears: "I killed myself with my own hand cannon!"
Forever Yaoyao: "Don't cry, sister, don't cry. You did great, really great!"
Red Wolf said: "Luna sister, hurry up and get here!"
"I'm busy saving the boss!" Luna said.
"Wuu-wuu-wuu!" Red Wolf sobbed as she crawled away.
"Thump, thump, thump!" Li Yishu stepped forward, shield-bashing her wildly before throwing down barbed wire.
In the blink of an eye, Red Wolf was dead.
"Red Wolf is down, Commander!" Li Yishu began looting the body on the spot—helmet, armor, gun, chest rig, backpack. He had completed the "possession" in an instant.
"Little Yan is up!" Heize said: "Let's head upstairs!"
"Got it, I'm going up to heal!" Little Yan said, hurrying to follow Heize.

Li Yishu grabbed Red Wolf’s corpse and hoisted it onto his shoulder.
"Little Yishu, what are you doing?" Little Yan asked.
Li Yishu said: "Luna didn't rush over, she must be saving Forever. I'm taking the body upstairs!"
Little Yan: "What the hell?"
"Well done!" Heize said.
The three of them entered the second floor. Li Yishu dumped the body in the hallway.
Heize said: "This spot is no good, we'll get shot in the back!"
Little Yan said: "Commander, they only have one person left, are we really afraid of them?"
"Forever is a master sniper!" Heize said: "Once he's up, that's two people!"
"Damn, what do we do then?" Little Yan asked.
"I suggest the West Building balcony. High ground, the advantage is ours!" Li Yishu said: "As for Red Wolf’s body, let’s just toss it into the bathroom!"
"That works!" Heize agreed.
The three of them rushed toward the balcony.
Meanwhile, in the basement, Luna had finished reviving Forever Yaoyao.
"Brothers, I'm back, I've returned!"
"I'm back, and that means it's time for the Commander to tremble!"
"I'm going to show those three what cruelty really is!"
"Sister Na, give me your AWM. I'll snipe, you rush!"
Luna immediately tossed the AWM to him along with five rounds of ammunition.
"That's plenty, brothers!" Forever shook his head: "So what if they have a Shield Dog? Three people bullying my sister? I'll show them what champion-tier marksmanship looks like!"

In the livestream:
"Silk Stockings Tea": "Holy crap, it's getting intense!"
"Old Cedis": "They turned Delta Force into PUBG!"
"Kulinan": "Old Yao is bold! Daring to take on the Commander!"
"Allow You to Weep": "I mean, shouldn't you heal up first?"
"Bear Two Porridge": "You only have one AWM, you'll die the moment you peek!"

Forever Yaoyao glanced at the chat: "Sister Na, don't rush, give me a health pack and a surgery kit, and toss me your painkillers too!"
"No problem, boss!" Luna decisively threw out the medical supplies.
After buffing up, Forever Yaoyao crawled over to loot a grunt's box, putting on a broken helmet and vest.
"Let's go!"
"Go, go, go!"
"Kill the Commander, kill Little Yan, kill Little Yishu, kill those three basement-crawling rats!"
