Author's Note on Publication, Asking for First Chapter Subscriptions

Tomorrow, specifically at midnight on April 1st, it is time for the official release, a moment that remains nerve-wracking no matter how many times one experiences it.

This is no April Fool's joke. Not an April Fool's joke! Definitely not an April Fool's joke!

I am practically leaping up to perform a 360-degree Thomas flair followed by a fancy kneel, begging all my dear patrons for your first subscriptions! I present my deepest kowtow with a bow of ultimate sincerity to thank you all!

The first chapter after the release will go live at midnight (though system delays might push it back a minute or two), followed by more updates throughout the day on the 1st. The total word count for the first day will definitely not be less than 15,000 words.

Following the release, the usual routine applies: updates before noon and before 4:00 PM, grinding out daily ten-thousand-word chapters relentlessly. Any interruptions will be reported in advance; I will never vanish without a reason. As an author as steady as a rock, my dear patrons need not worry about Lao He's update schedule.
