Chapter One Hundred Fifty-Six: The External Manifestation of the Self
Time flows like water, and the years pass like a swift shuttle. In the blink of an eye, the geniuses of Luo Yuan’s generation had already spent thirty years in Chaos City of the Initial Universe. Converted to the Primordial Universe’s timeline, that was a full century. Everything on Earth had changed beyond recognition, ushering in the era of interstellar exploration.
In the virtual universe, at a public area on Rain Phase Mountain, inside a private room of a restaurant:
“Ah, how time flies! Before we know it, we’ll be leaving Chaos City to walk our separate paths!” sighed Prince Uka of the Manka Star.
“Yes, thirty long years have passed in the blink of an eye!” Luo Feng echoed with a sigh.
“Enough of this melancholy, you two big men! Come, let’s have a drink!” teased Qianshui, her blue hair flowing and her demeanor charmingly bold.
“Hahaha, spending so much time with Qianshui has made her quite spirited!” Rong Jun laughed, raising his cup.
“By the way, where’s Borlan?” Luo Yuan suddenly asked.
“Ever since he learned you breached the Domain Lord level of the Primordial Towering Mountain, he’s been so shocked that he’s been cultivating nonstop, like possessed,” Rong Jun replied.
Luo Yuan opened his mouth but found no words.
“Hahaha, Luo Yuan, many geniuses lament being born in the same era as you. They’ve been chasing you with all their might but can’t even catch a whiff of you. Honestly, I gave up a long time ago—I know my limits,” Uka laughed, eyes relaxed. He had once been unwilling to accept this, but as the gap between him and Luo Yuan widened to a despairing degree, he let go.
The others glanced at Luo Yuan, their minds swirling with thoughts.
“From now on, we each must venture into our respective Four Great Secret Realms. I hear there are many opportunities there. We must seize them well,” Luo Yuan said calmly.
The others nodded in agreement.
……
In the Initial Universe, Chaos City, Luo Yuan’s ancient-style manor.
“So this is the clone you created? Though it looks exactly like you, why does it lack independent consciousness, like a walking corpse?” asked Elder Perlan in puzzlement.
Luo Yuan sipped his tea and explained slowly, “I did it deliberately so I can stay here in Chaos City and remotely control this clone with a fragment of my consciousness. The connection uses the power of the laws, meaning wherever laws exist, I can perfectly manipulate it.
“Of course, when my consciousness isn’t present, it can still perform basic actions autonomously—walking, flying, eating, meditating—to maintain the sense of presence!”
There was one thing Luo Yuan didn’t mention: when creating the clone, he discovered that his system could not operate on a clone with independent consciousness. Only the consciousness connected to the original body could wield the system to gather attributes. This also ensured the uniqueness of the host.
Unfortunately, time was tight. The secret art of “Externalized Avatar,” a Cosmic Lord-level technique, was incredibly difficult to cultivate. Despite his Chaos Divine Body’s exceptional comprehension, he had only managed to create a simple clone so far. This clone was at the peak Domain Lord level but possessed only a quarter of his true strength. Equipped with the King’s Armor and other gear, and using the laws, it could wield invincible power at the King-sealing tier.
In the future, when he could create millions of clones and control millions of consciousnesses simultaneously to gather attributes across various universes, his strength would soar beyond limits.
At this thought, Luo Yuan chuckled to himself, prompting Elder Perlan beside him to roll his eyes in amusement.
“Beep beep beep~”
“Master, your teacher, the Sovereign of Qianwu Kingdom, has sent you a call request!”
Suddenly, the intelligent assistant bus alerted Luo Yuan, causing him to pause. Since accepting this ancient elder as his master, they had barely communicated. What could this be about?
“小巴, open the call interface!”
“Whoosh!” A screen appeared before Luo Yuan, revealing the Sovereign of Qianwu Kingdom.
“My obedient disciple, do you still remember your teacher? Knowing you’re about to leave Chaos City and enter the Primordial Secret Realm, I’ve prepared a farewell gift for you, entrusted to someone to deliver. It should arrive soon. Use it well—it’s a token of my affection.”
Luo Yuan smiled at the Sovereign, who bore none of the usual commanding presence of a Cosmic Sovereign. He nodded seriously. Despite the Sovereign’s heavy debts, he still prepared a gift for Luo Yuan. The sentiment was deeply appreciated.
After their conversation ended, not long after, a King-sealing Immortal arrived bearing a storage ring for Luo Yuan, said to be the farewell gift from the Sovereign of Qianwu Kingdom. Only the Lord of Chaos City and a couple dozen elder brothers and sisters of elder rank knew about Luo Yuan’s cultivation of the Externalized Avatar technique, including Elder Perlan.
Luo Yuan scanned the ring with his spiritual power and was stunned to find a G-class starship inside. Such a ship was priceless—after all, the former owner of Moxin Star, Huyan Bo, had spent nearly all his wealth just to buy an F-class starship. Luo Yuan suddenly recalled that he hadn’t yet claimed Huyan Bo’s wealth at the Cosmic and Domain Lord levels. Though it was only a fraction of his current assets, every bit of money counted.
……
In the vast starry sky, a meteor-shaped starship traveled through space.
Inside this meteor-like vessel, a banquet for members of the Primordial Secret Realm was underway. Strangely, Luo Yuan’s figure appeared there—though it was a clone he had refined, controlled by a fragment of his consciousness. He had originally intended to go to the Primordial Secret Realm but had long planned to visit the Demon Mountain in the Primordial Secret Realm to obtain the legacy of the Demon Sound Divine General. To save time, he hitched a ride with the Primordial Realm members.
Luo Yuan’s ten elementary King-sealing immortal servants were assigned various tasks: one to the Primordial Secret Realm, one to the Bain asteroid cluster in the Cuilang star domain to eliminate a Domain Lord-level interstellar human trafficker named Pan Xi and seize the Lock Divine Water, two to guard Earth, three hidden inside the clone’s inner world, and three residing within Luo Yuan’s own inner world awaiting deployment.
An immortal-level divine kingdom was a precious asset, offering incredibly convenient direct teleportation—even across universes.
Luo Yuan did not attend the banquet with the Primordial members; after all, he was only there for a free ride. Instead, he stayed alone in his private room.
A month passed in the blink of an eye. The ship finally arrived at the Primordial Secret Realm. Luo Yuan parted ways with Luo Feng and others, taking out the repaired and upgraded F-class Moxin Star ship, heading toward Demon Mountain. He knew that the Primordial Secret Realm also contained a treasure called Blood Luo Crystal, but unfortunately, it held no benefit for his Chaos Divine Body.
Luo Yuan stored the ship in his inner world and gazed at a towering black mountain suspended in the void, shrouded in pale green and white mist. The mountain was 180 million kilometers tall, with its widest base spanning approximately 320 million kilometers. Surrounding the mountain were nine ancient planets inhabited by countless native beings.
“This Demon Mountain is enormous! Even a random valley is equivalent to the total landmass of Earth!” Luo Yuan murmured.
Looking toward the foot of the mountain, he saw a cluster of palaces. Scanning with his spiritual power, he discovered they were inhabited by immortal-level powerhouses, living lives of opulence and debauchery.
