"This is..."

Noticing the sudden, abnormal change in Shun, the entity deep within the continent of Mu felt a surge of astonishment and abruptly ceased using psychokinesis to crush the three of them.

Equally astonished was Mu, standing close by.

"Who are you?" he demanded aloud, staring at the handsome youth.

The Cosmos aura erupting from Shun was terrifying, completely and utterly surpassing his imagination.

More importantly, that Cosmos carried a sense of supreme majesty that towered above all else—an aura that definitely did not belong to any mortal.

Although he had never laid eyes on a deity, upon sensing the Cosmos radiating from Shun at that moment, the word "god" involuntarily surfaced in the depths of his mind.

This was the unique characteristic of a Cosmos possessed solely by gods, reigning supreme over all forms of life!

Yet, in the face of Mu’s interrogation, Shun gave no reply, merely gazing quietly with hollow eyes toward the depths of the continent, as though staring straight through at someone in particular.

Beside them, sensing the transformation in Shun, Yin Shiyi felt a secret surge of relief.

"We're saved this time!"

His past experience with the continent-wide battle in North America immediately allowed him to recognize that the Cosmos aura suddenly erupting from Shun belonged to a god.

Clearly, facing a mortal crisis, the soul of Hades, the Underworld King lying dormant within Shun's body, had awakened.

Hades, alongside Zeus the King of Gods and Poseidon the Emperor of the Seas, shared the dominion of the entire world, making him unquestionably one of the supreme deities of Olympus.

Perhaps, this time, they could leverage the power of Hades to extricate themselves from this desperate plight.

After a brief silence, the entity deep within the continent of Mu seemed to have also recognized the identity of Hades, and let out a cold snort. "So what if you are the Underworld King?"

"Not to mention that you are merely a soul, even if your true body were to descend, I would not fear you!"

Although he spoke with bravado, he nevertheless quietly released the psychokinesis pressing down upon Shun.

He was well aware of the war between the Underworld and the Sanctuary, and knew what the physical vessel of Hades signified.

Should he crush the vessel of Hades at this juncture, the enmity forged between them would be monumental.

While he did not fear Hades, he had no desire to needlessly provoke such a powerful deity.

His physical vessel freed from the mortal crisis, Hades reined in his divine power and silently slipped back into the depths of Shun's body to slumber once more.

With a soft thud, the handsome youth collapsed unconscious onto the ground.

"Shun, wake up!"

Yin Shiyi shouted frantically, hoping to rouse Shun so he could negotiate a way out for them, as the entity deep within the continent had not yet released the psychokinesis constraining him and Mu.

Unfortunately, that entity seemed to have no intention of giving them a chance, instantly resuming the tightening grip of its psychokinesis.

By this time, Mu had just recovered from the overwhelming amount of information hidden within the entity's previous words, only to find his Gold Cloth nearly crushed to pieces across his entire body.

"What terrifying power!" Blood spilled from the corners of his mouth as he offered a bitter, mirthless smile.

He felt as though he could already foresee his own end, being ground into a pulp of flesh and bone.

It was only a pity that he would never witness the day Goddess Athena returned.

Yin Shiyi’s condition was even worse.

The defensive capabilities of a Silver Cloth fell far short of a Gold Cloth, and his own strength was inferior to Mu's.

By now, he had become the most vulnerable of the trio.

"Ugh—"

A fractured rib pierced his lungs, and tasting a sudden sweetness in his throat, he coughed up a mouthful of blood.

Simultaneously, the undisguised, mocking voice of the mysterious entity echoed from the depths of the continent.

"Come to think of it, your generation is truly fascinating. The vessel chosen by the Underworld King has actually turned out to be a Saint of Athena."

Though for some reason he had not seen Shun wear a Cloth, judging by the relationship among the three, he could easily deduce that the handsome youth also belonged to the Sanctuary's faction.

For the mortal vessel of Hades to join the Sanctuary—how utterly amusing.

"Do not blame me; blame yourselves for coming to the wrong place!" the entity continued, tightening his psychokinesis of his own accord.

Mere Saints; to kill them was of no consequence.

Athena would not turn hostile against him over a couple of mere mortals.

Even if they were hailed as the strongest Gold Saints.

"Huh?"

Suddenly, the entity seemed to sense something unusual drifting through the air.

Taking another sniff, he discovered that Yin Shiyi’s blood was mingled with an unfamiliar essence.

"This is..."

He could not help but halt the contraction of his psychokinesis, sinking into distant memories.

It was an aura so bizarre and inexplicable that it defied verbal description.

He had encountered it long, long ago, but the passage of countless years had blurred his recollection.

He only remembered that this particular aura represented a terrifying existence.

The psychokinetic pressure from deep within the continent of Mu stopped abruptly. Yin Shiyi and Mu were baffled by the sudden change, yet neither dared to make a sound, dreading the provocation of a new catastrophe.

They could only hope that a miracle would descend and deliver them completely from peril.

Who could say how much time passed—perhaps a minute, perhaps ten minutes. Amidst their agonizing wait, a gasp of utter astonishment rang out from the depths of the continent.

"The favor of Fate?"

"It must be! I could never mistake it!"

"Do they not always remain aloof from worldly affairs? Why would they meddle in this kind of game?"

Rack his brains as he might, he could find no logical explanation, and was ultimately forced to reluctantly release the psychokinesis binding Yin Shiyi and Mu.

He had no wish to provoke them.

They were existences that even the gods themselves were bound to hold in awe.

Furthermore, given their capabilities, had they wished to conceal it, he would never have been able to detect the "favor of Fate" hidden within that young man.

Clearly, they had allowed him to discover it on purpose.

The implication behind this was naturally self-evident.

With resolute promptness, he commanded the two, "You may leave. But there will not be a next time!"

"Eh?"

With the crushing psychokinesis vanished, Yin Shiyi and Mu lay flat on the ground, gasping for breath as survivors of a near-death ordeal. Hearing this abrupt decree, they simply could not believe their ears.

They could not fathom why their adversary had suddenly changed his mind.

"Get out! Do not let me set eyes on you again!"

A roar echoed from the depths of the continent of Mu, and another powerful wave of psychokinesis descended upon the three, grasping them like a giant hand and hurling them straight up toward the sky.

Whoosh!

Yin Shiyi felt his vision darken as he was cast directly into the vault of heaven, which had been transformed into an ocean of water.

Instantly, the pitch-black seawater grew brighter and brighter, rapidly transforming into a brilliant, luminous expanse.

Watching the approaching blue sky, white clouds, and dazzling red sun, Yin Shiyi muttered in sheer disbelief, "Have we really returned to the mortal realm just like that?"

Everything that had just transpired felt entirely like a dream.

One moment on the brink of death, and the next safely returned to the human world—it was all too incredible.

Boom!

The upward momentum finally exhausted itself, and the three, cast out from the marine realm, plummeted heavily back down, slamming against the ocean surface.

Fortunately, all three had ignited their Cosmos and possessed extraordinary physiques; had it been ordinary mortals, this impact alone would have reduced them to pulp upon the waves.

Mu, whose injuries were relatively the lightest, mustered his remaining willpower, seized Yin Shiyi and Shun with his psychokinesis, and after verifying their bearings, gently tapped the surface of the water and soared away with the two toward the western coast of the Pacific Ocean.
