"I can't take it anymore, I need to request a break!" After three days of grueling, hellish training, Du Yun collapsed onto her bed, utterly exhausted, and couldn't help but wail in her mind to Dou Zhi.

"You wouldn't be planning to give up after just three days of effort, would you?" Dou Zhi's tone was flat, carrying an inexplicable coldness that made Du Yun feel quite uncomfortable.

"Who said I'm giving up? I just want a rest! Even prisoners get a reprieve and time for fresh air; can't I balance work and rest?" Du Yun grumbled.

Over these past three days, she had truly given her all. Although the training results were obvious, she was simply too drained. Especially now, her entire body felt as if it had been broken into pieces and then clumsily reassembled.

"Slacking off is not permitted," Dou Zhi said with absolute firmness.

"I'm not slacking off! Your plan aims for me to reach S-rank within four years, but since this is a zombie world and time on Green Field Planet hasn't moved..." As she spoke, Du Yun's eyes suddenly widened. Something was not right!

"You tricked me! This training plan is based on the timeline of Green Field Planet. I'm currently in the zombie world, where Green Field Planet's time is stagnant. All the training I've done over these three days actually only corresponds to a single day on Green Field Planet!" Du Yun blurted out her realization, her eyes wide.

Good heavens, how slow could she be to only notice this discrepancy after three days? The time progression between Green Field Planet and Blue Water Planet was completely different; they weren't moving at the same pace at all. She had effectively crammed three days' worth of work into what was only one day's worth of time for Green Field Planet, all while pushing herself to the brink.

"Hehehe," Dou Zhi chuckled dryly. "You finally discovered the loophole."

"You rascal, what exactly is going on here? Tell me the truth!" Du Yun felt like steam was about to shoot out of her ears. What was this? Had she been blindly following this hellish training, only to be played for a fool by this little guy?

"Master, Master, don't be angry!" Sensing Du Yun's emotional agitation, Dou Zhi rushed to soothe her. "Master, what I told you before was actually the absolute latest timeline for you to save your family. If you don't reach Double-S rank within four years, it will be extremely difficult to save everyone when the planet falls!"

"And if you want to reach Double-S rank in four years, you are bound to encounter many hardships and obstacles. If we don't build in a buffer, any minor setback could delay your progress, and what would be at stake then is the lives of your entire family!"

"Think of your grandmother, think of your adorable younger sister, think of your mother. Can you bear the thought of them turning into zombies or dying in the mouths of the undead?" Dou Zhi's voice became deeply emotional, and his words left Du Yun with no room for rebuttal. Her family was her greatest weakness.

"You..." Du Yun felt a sense of powerlessness. Although she felt angry at being deceived, she knew Dou Zhi was speaking the truth. If she didn't work hard, her beloved family would die. She had no choice but to bury her anger deep down.

"I understand. I'll work hard," Du Yun said listlessly. It felt terrible to have such a suffocating frustration bottled up inside with no way to vent it.

"By the way, my mood right now must be exactly the same as yours when you can't eat the stewed fish, right?" Du Yun sprawled her limbs across the bed and asked Dou Zhi with a touch of malice.

Previously, after Du Yun had finished stewing fresh fish and watched humans and even zombies eating with such delight, Dou Zhi had fallen into a brief depression. It could accurately collect fish, search for hundreds of cooking methods, and even scan the microscopic structure of fish meat, yet it could never know the taste of it.

Du Yun brought this up now purely to provoke Dou Zhi, as revenge for him manipulating her focus and leaving her with no way to voice her grievances.

"Master..." As soon as Du Yun mentioned this, Dou Zhi wilted, its voice filled with despondency.

Du Yun immediately felt like a cruel older sister. After all, Dou Zhi was her artificial intelligence, and it had been helping her diligently. To stab at its heart like this was truly unforgivable.

"Dou Zhi, it's alright. Just because you can't taste it now doesn't mean you won't be able to in the future. Isn't your technology highly advanced? Let's see if there's a way to build a body for you. Then you'll be able to taste things!" Regretting her words, Du Yun hurriedly consoled it.

"Really? You'll help me build a body?" Dou Zhi's voice sounded like a child begging for candy—nasal, yet full of anticipation.

"Yes, of course! Don't you worry!" Du Yun promised immediately. Hearing that tiny voice, she felt she was truly wicked.

"That's wonderful! Thank you, Master!" Dou Zhi's voice still had that thick, nasal quality, but it had shifted to pure joy.

"You're welcome, you're welcome!" Du Yun readily agreed. Because of her genuine care for Dou Zhi as one of her own, she failed to notice how an AI core—which didn't even have a physical body—could possibly produce a nasal sound.

Driven by a lingering sense of guilt, Du Yun spent the next few days gritting her teeth and carrying out the hellish training plan without cutting a single corner, until she suddenly remembered that she still had to arrange her sister's wedding!

"I have to go back!" she said one morning, and before it was even time for breakfast, she hurriedly activated the flash-travel function and returned home.

Back on Green Field Planet, Du Yun was still standing in the cornfield. A gentle breeze blew, making the corn leaves rustle, while the sound of frogs from a nearby pond only served to highlight the quiet of the surroundings.

"Hehe, my little sweetheart, you've been waiting anxiously, haven't you?" Du Yun suddenly heard a man's low voice coming from a distance. She vaguely felt the voice was familiar, as if she had heard it somewhere before, but she couldn't quite place it.

"Go on, who's your little sweetheart!" A delicate, coy female voice followed, succeeded by kissing sounds and rustling noises.

What on earth was this? Du Yun looked up at the sky. It was still broad daylight, wasn't it? And these two were already engaging in such scandalous behavior?! Du Yun frowned, having no desire to hear the rest, and began to tiptoe away.

"Ah..." A sound of satisfaction came from the pair in the distance, prompting Du Yun to walk even faster.

"How about that? I'm much more to your liking than that little vixen Du Yun, aren't I?" The coy female voice spoke again, successfully freezing Du Yun in her tracks.

What on earth is this situation!
