In an instant, his henchmen, wielding clubs and possessing sturdy frames, surged forward like hungry wolves. Su Rulan was so terrified that she lost all composure. These men were all over six feet four inches tall—genuine brutes—and she wondered how Ye Tianlin could possibly escape unscathed.

"Tianlin, let's run!" Su Rulan cried out, trembling.

Lin Kaiyang stood in the background, arms crossed, and sneered, "Think you can run from me? You’re dreaming! If I don’t cripple you both today, I’ll write my name backward!"

As the words left his lips, the henchmen reached them. The leader swung his club, aiming directly for Ye Tianlin’s head. A solid blow like that could easily crack a skull! Su Rulan held her breath, her pupils dilating as her heart leaped into her throat.

However, in a flash, Ye Tianlin moved. He caught the club with ease and delivered a swift kick to the man’s abdomen.

*Bang!*

The seemingly casual kick erupted with immense force. The leader flew back like a cannonball, landing five meters away, where he collapsed, unconscious.

The scene fell into a deathly silence. Su Rulan stood frozen behind him, completely stunned. Throughout their five years of marriage, she had never known that Ye Tianlin possessed such incredible combat skills; it was simply mind-boggling.

Lin Kaiyang and his remaining henchmen were equally shocked, their eyes nearly popping out of their sockets. Twitching with rage, Lin Kaiyang cursed, "What are you idiots waiting for? Kill him! I don't believe one man can be that capable!"

Before he even finished speaking, Ye Tianlin took the initiative. Moving with the stability of a mountain, he walked toward Lin Kaiyang, knocking down one man after another with a single slap each. In less than half a minute, the henchmen were scattered like paper dolls, sprawled on the ground and howling in agony as they clutched their faces.

Lin Kaiyang gasped, horrified. "How is this possible? How can you be this strong?"

Ye Tianlin stopped in front of him and instantly seized him by the throat. Cold, sharp light radiated from his eyes as he said, "You said... you wanted to hit my wife?"

"I... I..." Lin Kaiyang struggled to breathe, his face turning a ghastly shade of blue. As Ye Tianlin tightened his grip, he was lifted clean off the ground. Lin Kaiyang’s brain buzzed, his eyes bulging in disbelief. How could this man lift someone nearly two meters tall with just one hand?

Yet, Lin Kaiyang quickly regained a shred of composure and managed to choke out, "Do you even know who I am? Do you know that no one who offends me ever ends up well?"

"I don't need to know who you are; you are insignificant to me. I only heard you threaten to hit my wife as well!" Ye Tianlin let out a cold snort and drove his knee firmly into Lin Kaiyang’s gut.

Lin Kaiyang doubled over, his back slamming into the car door before he collapsed to the ground, writhing in unbearable pain and screaming like a slaughtered pig.

Ye Tianlin didn't care. He began slapping Lin Kaiyang across the face, left and right, the sound ringing out rhythmically.

"You... you..."

"How dare you hit me!"

"I won't let you get away with this, you dog! I will definitely destroy you!"

Lin Kaiyang’s face was soon swollen and bruised, but he continued to curse relentlessly. Annoyed, Ye Tianlin exerted a bit more force, knocking Lin Kaiyang unconscious. He smoothed his clothes and turned to face Su Rulan.

"Our walk was interrupted, Rulan. Let’s head back," Ye Tianlin said, looking genuinely regretful.
