The Su family villa was hosting a banquet to welcome Su Yixue, and Ye Tianlin was well aware of this event. However, the reason he had come in person was not to attend the dinner; it was because, on this same day, he had received a reply from Zhao Shanhai, who wanted to settle things face-to-face.

But what he didn’t expect at all was to witness such a scene upon entering the villa.

“You people are utterly worthless!” Ye Tianlin’s anger erupted, fierce and unyielding. Without a moment's hesitation, he raised his hand and delivered a heavy slap to Su Yixue.

A sharp smack echoed throughout the room.

Caught off guard, Su Yixue was knocked to the ground, her mind blank, her eyes filled with disbelief.

Old Master Su and Su Yicai were both stunned.

Ye Tianlin, that fool, not only barged in uninvited but dared to strike someone in front of everyone—this was nothing short of madness.

Only Su Zhengjun remained unmoved, sitting in his seat as though he'd anticipated this. He made no attempt to intervene; instead, he poured himself drink after drink in despair, thinking his end had surely come.

“You dare hit me? Do you even know who I am?” Su Yixue, clutching her stinging cheek, staggered to her feet, furious and humiliated.

Ye Tianlin snorted coldly, and with another swift slap, sent Su Yixue sprawling again. Then, mercilessly, he pressed his foot down on her head, his expression icy as he uttered, “The Su family is but a minor branch. What right do you, a nobody, have to point fingers at me?”

Su Yixue grimaced in pain, unable to break free from his hold, her appearance wretched beyond measure—especially under the gaze of Su Rulan’s family, her dignity shattered.

Only then did Old Master Su react, slamming the table and pointing at Ye Tianlin, spitting curses, “You scoundrel! Let go of Yixue, or else—”

But before he could finish, a piercing scream escaped him.

Ye Tianlin had forcibly broken Old Master Su’s finger.

“Aaah!” The old man’s legs gave way, and he collapsed, clutching his hand.

Ye Tianlin’s eyes narrowed coldly. “I just said, no one points fingers at me. That includes you.”

“I’ll break your legs today!” Su Yicai, thoroughly enraged, rolled up his sleeves and lunged.

“You don’t know how to value your life.” Ye Tianlin stood firm as a mountain, effortlessly catching Su Yicai’s fist, and in a flash, seized his throat, his fingers digging deep.

“You—” Su Yicai’s agony was unbearable; it felt as if his neck would be snapped. Instantly, his strength vanished, his body limp from head to toe, unable to breathe, vision darkening.

Seeing Su Yicai about to be strangled on the spot, Su Weimin and Gao Yulan rushed from the kitchen, grabbing Ye Tianlin’s hand.

“Let go, or someone will die!”

“Yes, please, don’t do anything rash.”

Su Rulan hurried over as well, pleading, “Tianlin, stop, please don’t cause trouble! If someone dies, our family is finished.”

At her words, Ye Tianlin reluctantly released his grip.

Su Yicai collapsed to the floor, gasping for air, terrified beyond measure, his scalp tingling.

That brief moment, the murderous intent in Ye Tianlin’s eyes made him realize—if not for Su Rulan’s timely intervention, he would have died right here today.

“Tianlin didn’t mean it, he—he—” Su Rulan stammered, utterly lost on how to resolve the chaos.

The couple, too, were in complete disarray, their faces showing their helplessness.

Su Yixue, disheveled, rose again, wiping the shoe print from her face, and screamed hysterically, “Su Rulan, you’re finished! I won’t let you off this time. I’ll tell my future husband, just wait and see!”

Su Yicai rubbed his neck, cursing, “You still want to visit the Bihui Bay villas? You’ll be visiting the jail instead. This time, your whole family’s going down!”

Old Master Su’s face was pale, furious, and he berated, “Su Rulan, you’ve gone too far. If you don’t learn your lesson, you won’t stop until you see the coffin!”

“Grandfather, I’m sorry, truly sorry!” Su Rulan bowed ninety degrees, trembling, unable to imagine the consequences to come.

Su Yixue shouted, “From now on, you’re fired from the company. I don’t believe—with no company backing you and so many contracts in your hands—you’ll be able to carry on. Just wait for disaster. If my fiancé hears about today, he’ll sue you till you rot in jail!”

At her words, Su Rulan, Su Weimin, and Gao Yulan all looked utterly hopeless.

It was at this critical moment that Ye Tianlin spoke again.

“Your future husband is right outside the villa. Do you want me to let him in?”
